While I had read a Tokina 35mm Macro review or two in the past, I never gave this lens any serious consideration until I saw it at my local camera shop recently. I had only gone into the shop in order to get a new camera bag, but after taking a few snaps with the Tokina, I bought it as well. Thankfully, the price did not make too big a dent in my finances and the great macro photos I have been taking with it, more than justifies the expense.
